Heh. Yes, I'm more than willing to accept that it's the wrong  
approach, and if I were implementing an RDF DB on a computer I  
probably wouldn't look at an RDBMS. But the idea I have in mind is to  
do that over Google Gears. I don't know if I'll get the time, and I'm  
not sure what the exact use case is, but it sounds sexy to me :)
