Hi there,
I'm Thomas Kappler, developer at www.uniprot.org, one of the largest
public bioinformatics resources. We provide RDF and we work
continually on improving our Semantic Web offerings. Our RDF handling
is all written in Java, but we use Perl for many other things and
recently I got interested in exploring the world of RDF in Perl, which
led me here.
I'm not sure what exactly I'm gonna do with perlrdf. Two weeks ago, I
attended the Biohackathon in Tokyo [1] and was inspired by the
interest in working with RDF in biology that I saw in the BioRuby and
BioPython camps. Some people are working on an API over biomedical
Sparql endpoints to make things easier for developers, and I might
help with that from the Perl side.

Something else entirely: Currently, the mailing list archive at
http://lists.perlrdf.org/pipermail/dev/ is "Forbidden", maybe this
could be fixed?
Cheers,
Thomas
P.S. Grep, I'll reply to your very helpful mail about RDF::Trine soon!
