Hi all!
First, we're moving to hackathon to Oslo, some details will follow, but
this will make it easier to get there and more time for hacking! :-)
So, we have some nice ideas already! Good.
It would like to discuss some further directions for my RDFa Templating
language, which is nearing a first public release, as almost all tests are
passing http://svn.kjernsmo.net/RDF-RDFa-Template/trunk/
I think it is also an important topic to interface with existing systems,
such as 4store, Virtuoso, perhaps FACT++? Steve Harris is recommending that
we work with 4store on the HTTP level, Kingsley Idehen recommends working
with Virtuoso through ODBC, and I have no idea about FACT++, but given that
we are talking about a reasoner, perhaps we should adopt (parts of) the
OWLAPI?
Secondly, I've been thinking about building RDF into Catalyst. I'm not sure
we are there yet, but I'm sure we could do some simple stuff, an
RDF::Trine::Model for a Catalyst model, simple RDF serialising for a View,
and so on, but it may be of limited usefulness.
I feel that Class::OWL represents an interesting opportunity, but it
depends on someone attending with a deeper understanding of Class::MOP (and
possibly Moose). Once this is better understood, I think we can do a lot of
interesting stuff with Catalyst.
Cheers,
Kjetil
